Es un pueblo costero en el departamento Finistère, bañado por el océano Atlántico. Se encuentra cerca de St. Jean-du-Doigt, a 17 Km. de Morlaix, 16 Km. de Roscoff, 36 Km. de Lannion, 66 Km. de Brest, y a 111 Km. de Quimper. A sus habitantes se les denomina los Plougasnistes.
